Alvin and Syreeta are genuine people. They care about their tenants and are very quick to respond to any issues reported by their tenants. It's rare you can say that a real estate company might put people above profit but that's how it feels working with these two.

During/After and During the Covid Crisis again. They were very understanding about the hardships being faced by their tenants and worked with them to ensure they were treated fairly. Forget the federal eviction moratorium... I honestly don't believe they would act on that even if there were no eviction moratorium in place. Now that's considering the tenant is being reasonable and actually trying to make their payments.

These are very nice Christian Americans and their Heart is much bigger and seemingly more important to their community of tenants than the size of their bank accounts. I enjoy speaking with them each time I get the opportunity.

He has collected rents, ensured there has been ongoing communication with us, and has been efficient with getting contractors to our home as swiftly as possible. This company is horrible. I rented from them for over a year in a small house in Eatonville that was full of leaks , mold and needed repairs. I have emails, photos, statements from visitors, repair people and community members. Moving in I had to clean. My son stayed sick from the mold. Doctor visit after visit. From December to February they were unresponsive about two leaks that turned into mold. I stayed due to not wanting to uproot my child again but the place was hell from day one. It became move out or child gets sicker. They do not respond and he's the rudest pos I've ever met. It's taking forever to get to judgement but it's coming. If they do respond to you ...you must reside in a property that's putting large amounts of money in his pocket. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. Here it is 2021 I still haven't been contacted but you send me a bill for over 3 grand.

When I first got my house I was disappointed in the amount of work that I needed to do to make it more comfortable. It was my fault for rushing into something so I ate the bullet on the situation. I took a 20 minute video of the damages upon move in for evidence. However, anytime I needed them to repair something they took the cheap way out. Something my 7 year old newphew could have done. They were responsive fairly quick to my requests but things were half a**. The house was covered in carpenter ants and Terminix had to come out a few times a month to treat it. They were flying in the house, in the tubs, in the food when I tried to cook.. everything. An extra bill and annoyance I didn’t need. The fridge needed to be replaced bc it didn’t work. I had an AC repair technician out here at least three times and then he just replaced the unit. I had to get my water heater replaced bc that broke as well and had no hot water for me and my foster children. I needed to patch holes and repaint portions of the walls in the rooms. Here it is and it’s my renewal and I noticed I didn’t get any offers. Knowing my renewal was within 30 days I decided to call. I was told that it’s my job to contact them as if though they are incapable of reaching out to their residents giving offers to those that pay on time every month and take care of their home like it was their own. I asked if there was a way I could get assistance with the amount of mold in the master bathroom. Instead of responding with something like “I’m sorry we can’t help with mold issues but I’d recommend this...”, the lease agreement was thrown at me and was told it’s not there responsibility and it’s in my lease aggreement. We literally went back and forth through email. There was no customer service, there was so sympathy, there was no care, there was no humanity. Again, I ate the bullet and emailed a few days later apologizing about the misunderstanding and wanted to know IF I decided to renew what was the process. It’s going on two weeks and no response. I called three times and spoke to the receptionist (who is sweet) and still can’t get an answer from the real estate agent. No call backs, no emails. No anything. It’s completely unprofessional and petty. Now I’m stuck in a situation where I feel like it’s better for me to just leave at the last min. Money isn’t an issue for me to move, but the way they handle business definitely is. I would never ever go back to this company once I’m out.

Be VERY careful dealing with these people. Alvin Moore and his strange looking wife actually stole personal property - original, signed artwork, irreplaceable book collections, imported African masks and sculptures, furniture - and even tons of photographs of our deceased elders and our son who passed away. The "wife" watched as we moved or items into the property --- and then the two of them went in there and "disposed" of every single item. The property turned out to have been rented to us by some sleazy scam artist - and Alvin Moore and his wife of MOREHOSE REALTY claimed to know nothing about it... but further investigation proved otherwise. His wife saw some things that she wanted that night ---- and so they simply took them. They are now enjoying them in their OWN home.
And my family and I have lost ALL of our precious photos, artifacts and collections that belonged to loved ones who have passed away. We cannot imagine what pleasure those items could bring to these people. They are in desperate need of prayers.

CHECK AROUND, FOLKS --- YOU'LL FIND THAT THIS MAN AND HIS BOYISH WIFE ARE NO STRANGER TO UNDERHANDED DEALINGS. THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER REALTY COMPANIES.... DO YOUR RESEARCH AND YOU WILL SEE THAT YOU MIGHT BE TAKING A RISK IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Was told that my son was approved for an apartment lease but they approved another renter as well. They made us race to get a deposit in first to "win" the apartment. We lost, but that was after wasting my morning running to the bank and securing a cashiers check for the deposit. It was beyond unprofessional and unethical.

I found Morehouse realty to be and excellent company they rented my property at a great rate. They screened several applicants and got me the best tenant for my money and the tenants have been in the property for 5 years at a competitive rate and they renew, inspect and evaluate it every year.
