Pésimo servicio... te cobran casi $500 dólares para “investigar” y luego te dicen lo que ya sabes. Que tienes que pagar y para seguir el proceso y mirar si se puede hacer algo te cobran $2000 mas, si lo que yo quiero es quitarme una deuda no poner una más. Y no les importa contestarte ninguna pregunta. Solo quieren tu dinero. Yo fui a un contador q me costó 180 y resolvió el problema en dos días y sin tanto papeles. Lo q luego la supuesta investigación que tomó dos semana no pudo resolver. No se los recomiendo. Van a perder su dinero.

I’m incredibly disappointed with Optima Tax Solutions. I contracted Optima Tax Relief Services in June 2023 to help with my tax issues(I owed the IRS $12,000). I was given an estimate of four to six months for a typical time frame to resolve such a case. The company was unresponsive to my questions and concerns. I have never been allowed to speak with anyone who knows about my account. I have often uploaded requested documents, and weeks and months later, I have been told they need more documentation. Each time I called, I got put on hold, and they hung up on me after being on hold for 30+ minutes. I was told I would receive a return call within 48 hours, or I was told that I was in a queue and my call would be returned. This happened the last three times I called, and I was never called back. The only way I am able to deal with anyone besides the person answering the phone is by email, where the company is equally unresponsive. I went in person to their Santa Ana office, which is empty, with only one person answering phones. They have charged me over $3,000 and just told me that they were unable to resolve anything I needed to pay back the full amount owed to the IRS in monthly payments. This company is a total fraud and should not be in business stealing people’s money.

DO NOT USE Optima!!!! I hired optima in winter of 2021, I had not filed taxes since 2012. I started a small business that for most of the time barely made enough money to pay the rent. I had no idea what I owed. Optima said they would do an investigation and let me know what they fond. After the investigation I was told it would be a quick resolution. I filled out my projected returns. With zero guidance it took 4 sets of projected returns and 2years later they finally had my returns ready. I this time I had hired a tax person for my business going forward. She is exceptional, she printed off our returns Optima had prepared for us to sign, and back up copies. Thank God she did cause up on looking at returns Optima had prepared we were very unhappy. Never mind we are now going on 3 years into this process. We called our accountant and asked if she could do better. She went back over the returns Optima had prepared, and was shocked how inflated our income was and there were almost zero credits or deductions. So I called and fired Optima that was in the am, by the afternoon they had locked me out of my account and any access to the paperwork that had already been filed. Thank God my new tax person had printed off the copy’s of my returns and paperwork. Otherwise it would have drug the process out even more than it already had. I went from owning over 50K with the returns Optima prepared to owing nothing thanks to our tax person. By the way it only took her 2 months to get the returns done, we just signed them and they are getting mailed in on Monday. DO NOT USE Optima I am 3 years later paid them 1300$ and got almost nothing in return. They pray on people who are scared and in over there head. DO NOT USE Optima!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Optima Tax Relief. Despite their promises, they failed to deliver any meaningful results for my tax issues. I paid a significant amount of money for their services, but they did not resolve my tax problems as expected.
Communication was poor, and I rarely received updates on the progress of my case. When I requested a refund due to their lack of results, my request was denied. I feel like my money was taken without any real effort to help me.
I would not recommend Optima Tax Relief to anyone seeking help with their tax issues. Save your money and look for a more reliable and transparent company.

I was nervous to call in in the first place but when the tax advocate called me back, he was so kind. He explained everything thoroughly to me. He listened to my issues and was very understanding about what was going on with me. He was very patient with me. He also went over the phases and how long they would take and have me his direct number should I need to call him. I am looking forward to getting things taken care of as soon as possible. So far so good!!
