Horrible experience. Title company would not return calls to us, the sellers, or to our mortgage company that was handling our new home purchase.

The employee who handled our file had not reviewed our file for weeks, missed deadlines, and wasn’t even at our signing. The company sent another employee to handle.

We have purchased and sold many homes, with this being the worst experience.

Closed late, wire sent late, everything was a hassle. Add that to them losing our gate keys we turned in and it cost us $130, worst closing experience ever. I've closed homes 5 times in 3 years and found this company to be the least responsive and unwilling to take any responsibility.

Our closing agent was very rude and unprofessional. The company itself was fine and efficient but they almost dropped the ball on my house sell. All ended well once the Marketing Rep got involved.

Stay away from closing agent Marie Smith. I have never witnessed a more unpleasant person in my life. Marie made it almost impossible for us to close on time without financial penalty. Her lack of communication had us scrambling on closing day to have all our ducks in a row and receive the keys. On top of that, she took out her bad day on the buyers, verbally attacking them and eventually refusing to accommodate internet needs to wire the closing money. On one of the most exciting days of your life, buying a house, I would expect so much more from a closing agent. Leave your issues at home, put on a smile, and do your job right....Ive worked with dozens of Title Companies, and Peninsula was by far the worst experience I have ever had.

We just purchased a villa in The Villages and Peninsula Land & Title closed the sale. They made a $10,000 error in the closing statement and didn't detect the error until one week later. Unbelievable. Wouldn't recommend..

Never called back, said they checked the title for a purchase, but not permits, went to sell, what a mess, found an open permit from 2014 and they claim no responsobilty. Don't use them,
