Honestly, a great property management company to work with! I always hear horror stories about property management companies but I have no complaints about this one. A few months ago I had a bug problem coming from the tree in the backyard and I expressed my concern to the owner Lisa. Within the week I had a very nice exterminator come and fix the problem. They are very responsive, professional, and personable. I have lived in my place for over a year and every time I need something they have been understanding and kind! If you're looking at one of their properties, I would say go for it!

I've used Places Realty, LLC since they acquired the TD Real Estate Fort Collins office (I’ve lost track of the exact year but I’m thinking that was in 2016 or 2017). I couldn't be happier with their service. As a property owner I'm always concerned that the property management firm not only screens for good tenants, but they can also turn-over the property at the end of a lease. Places Realty has excelled in both of those areas. They also do a great job at maintaining the property and communicating with me well in advance when significant maintenance or repairs are anticipated.

They will give you a crusty dusty apartment that is coated in grease and littered with carpet stains, leftover nails and pins on the wall, and paint splatters. The smell from the slimy dishwasher and food-crusted garbage disposal will take weeks to clean and air out. Some light bulbs will already be burned out and they will tell you it’s your responsibility to change them. Then, they will take all of your security deposit upon move-out for light bulbs, rekeying, and carpet cleaning despite knowing that you initially moved in with none of that being done. I lived my time there with appliances that worked only half the time, a broken chain bolt latch, mold, and other issues. Maintenance will take a long time to come out and then not actually fix anything.

I have severe OCD and this affected my mental health. I spent many hours obsessively cleaning and even had some of the workers say my apartment was in the best condition they had ever seen out of all the tenants they visit.

Be careful reading the lease, maybe learn how to make your own repairs, and most definitely do not pour your heart and soul into a place with them while expecting to get your deposit back. It’s not worth it.

Unorganized, unprofessional. Theres often trash and debris on the grounds of the building I live in. Maintenance work was done on my building recently and the contractors were using power from my unit to power their tools for the work done. I contacted places realty asking for compensation for my power bill and was ignored. On multiple occasions people have left unwanted furniture in front of my apartment and places realty tries to blame me for it every time, leaving notes threatening to fine me. The last time they did this they didn't even give me a 24 hour window to remove the item. They should focus more on maintaining their buildings and patrolling for abandoned furniture instead of trying to blame their tenants for it.
