Kari and Chase of Ponderosa Real Estate made our search for and purchasing of a second home on the Colorado Western Slope in Ouray County. We were on a two week vacation stay in the Ouray, Ridgway area and decided to investigate a vacation home in that area. Chase gave us his time, listened to our desires and price point, and then bracketed all of those showing us homes on each side of our desires and constraints. We found a wonderful "farm house" style home with a stupendous view. What was truly amazing was how Chase and the folks at Land Title in Montrose, CO made purchasing a home long distance very easy. Technology helped but only because they could explain it to us old fogies. We first met with Chase in June 2021. We expressed what we were looking for and told him that we were not in a rush. Over the next few months, he would continue to check in on us, always sending listings consistent with what we were looking for. Then in June of 2022, we started to converge on a property and made an offer. Chase knew the area inside out, the folks around, the listing agent, the banks, the title company, etc. He helped us in every step... always checking in, always making sure everything was going smoothly, and always putting our interests first. We've worked with many agents over the years, but Chase takes customer service to the next level. Chase is by far the best Broker I have ever worked with. I have bought and sold over 15 homes personally. He knows the market, is a wealth of information when it comes to vacant lots and existing homes ?. He is very quick to respond and thorough in addressing items like water ? rights and easements.
