Horrible website. They'll happily take 60 dollars and then leave you with a website that is actively, purposefully hard to use. They say their platform highly restrictive in order to protect their data. In fact, sites like this are designed this way in order to limit the ability of users to actually shop between different options.

This service is in no way what they present it to be. I’ve read through a lot of the rebuttals from the company and they clearly are playing the game of denial.
I too, like many others, was told this service was more “exclusive” than it really is. I was literally told by Breann I won’t be competing with other applicants like I would on other sites. REDI HAS NO leg up on any other site in terms of their power or preferential treatment with their posters…if you’re a member. You’re just like any other applicant in the eyes of the land lord.
The site is also not accurate. I found a property with a future availability which is why I signed up for the service as I told Breann I am looking for July home and she went on to say how they have pre-lease postings for future availability….. well, if the availability date is not accurate, not very helpful, is it?
They can sit and dispute and gaslight on the technicalities of what their service is or is not but what they cannot dispute is their statements about vetting postings and taking incorrect ones down. I can see the rebuttal now “well, you didn’t notify us it was wrong….” “Ok, but that’s not my job and that’s not why I paid $60 for your service….”
I was looking for a July move in. Found a house and fell in love. Found the same house on Zillow with June availability, confirmed with the poster it is June and not July. Very disappointing and shows that their service isn’t high quality for postings, but also, I was given the impression there would be more assistance with the seeking process. From what I recall, I was told an agent would be helping me through the process, but no, YOU call the people and YOU hunt them down. Also, you will be ghosted by REDI once you sign up.
They may say they have all these postings but again, it’s subjective and where are those stats coming from? Are they comparing every single rental database out there against their own to support their 90% claim?
Likely not. If they can’t even spell “ensure” instead of “insure” correctly or guarantee their listings are accurate, they do not have the technological or analytics skills to analyze that level of data across multiple systems. (I’m a data scientist, I know this stuff).
So anyways, like everyone else, don’t be conned into this service.
They might have a couple homes from private sellers but mehhh it’s probably statistically insignificant and then maybe 1 of those houses would meet your criteria.

LASTLY!! Dont you think that if agencies are paying to list on other sites, not this “free site” for posters that they would invest more in engagement with Zillow, Trulia, etc….? When I told the poster of the house with the discrepancy, they seemed totally unbothered and the information hasn’t changed on REDI.
It’s free to posters = low quality content at the expense of the renter….
Where is the accountability? Cause it’s clearly not reflected in their customer satisfaction 🤔

So I paid $60 to not even get help to do the applications? I'm Confused I work very long hours and I'm tired single mom of 3. I'm not able to contact regular hours since I work 10am to 8:30 and having the kids. I thought I was paying to be able to apply through the website. Sort of like other websites that let you send your info out to apply. I feel I wasted my money. All it does it show you listings. I could have done that for free I rather go thru a different free website and be able to at least apply if they scam like I don't have to pay for an application fee if I don't want to or can't afford at that time But I feel Completely Scammed cus I thought I was paying for help to at least have a way to save my info and send it out from your website. But no it's like "hey here's all the houses every other website has shown everywhere except now you paying us $60 & them $60 for the application"

Well, RediRentals had a few properties I was interested in in my price range. The information was closed behind a pay wall. So I paid the $60 and joined the program, and those rentals mysteriously dissappeared. When I called to get help finding a place (Which I paid them for) the lady seemed annoyed and told me to go online. Needless to say I'm back to looking for a place on my own through other sources. Thanks for stealing my $60

Redi-Rentals is by no means a perfect experience or as personalized as hoped - BUT, it did cut through many of the scam listing problems I had on other sites. I was able to find a private landlord who preferred doing things "the old fashioned way" and signed the shortest (one page) lease I've ever signed in my life.

Ultimately, $60 was money well spent for me for a peace of mind that listings were real - not a scam.

The site and tool however, is an ancient, barely updated relic. The UI is horrendous and it's filtering mechanisms are nothing special. The text notifications did function, though, so besides not having modern features - most of what was there functioned - albeit sometimes very awkwardly.
