Worked with them for 2 years. Great experience! Rented to my college age son and roommates without question. Carriage House Realty did not get back to me after they heard that. Another private owner wanted to charge a non-refundable $2000 deposit on top of regular deposit equal to rent. Sound Choice has a user friendly APP that is great for shared rent and communication. Maintenance requests are handled very efficiently. Always friendly and helpful when calling office! I wouldn't used any other property management company!

Andrew has a construction background and is very helpful in identifying issues and/or positives in a property’s construction. Additionally, Andrew helped us secure a VA assumable loan where it seems as most realtors in the area are not willing to consider that as an option. Terrible company to rent from. Stole 800$ for a filter scam using a shell company and refused to refund the money even though I never received the filters. When confronted, "we sent you an email to update your address."

You are a rental company. You have the address.

Very simple. Payment received for services not rendered is theft.

After we moved out, kept our security deposit and billed us an extra 1600 (3900 total) to fix things that were broken when we moved in or that were setup to fail--no transitions from carpet to floor, etc.

Only rent from these people if you like having your money stolen, or you are litigious enough to keep them from absolutely bending you over. They make the other leeches of rental companies in the area look like absolute saints.

I hope karmic justice finds them soon.

I rarely leave scathing reviews, but this company deserves it. I rented a home from Sound Choice for two years. I paid a 2300 deposit on the home, and i paid a monthly pet deposit. For the first year, we were charged over $700 for a service they weren't even providing (AC Filters). When confronted with the issue, Sound Choice stated that they could not reimburse us because "they would have to do the same for other tenants". So basically they stole from us. After we moved out, not only did they take my full $2300 deposit, they charged me $1600 on top of that for repairs that were not even my responsibility. These people are thieves. Do not rent from them. You've been warned.
