We have worked with Success and Betsy for over 5 yrs. Betsy and her team have been amazing. There aren't many companies that truly care anymore, but they really do. Every single time that I've needed to reach out to Betsy or her team, they have been amazing at providing customer service. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking to rent or purchase through Success.

Had the experience of working with Success Rentals and it was the primary reason we wanted to move out of the location. Ever since we first moved in, we communicated that good communication was important for us and that's all we asked in return. We got quite the opposite as the place we moved into was dirty and not professionally cleaned. We documented this and told them that we don't expect to professionally clean the place when we moved out. We had to move out one month after moving in for the floors to be redone. You would think that would be done before having tenants move into the space. During our time there, communication was not good, as we had to reach out multiple times to get things fixed or had general questions about the rental. It seemed like no one cared.

An employee named Marc eventually came on and things seemed to get better as he heard our rational concerns and started to resolve some of the things. The move out process was horrible. No responses to emails regarding the security deposit. House viewings being planned and strangers showing up to our door unannounced asking to see the place as we are still living there. My brother and I even showed people the space out of courtesy since people drove from far away. We provided documentation about the condition of the place and they still charged for cleaning and for the other issues that seemed to come out of no where. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and getting no response, we started the process of taking legal action and only until then we excluded some of the things that should have been accounted for since the start.

Overall, we were thankful that Marc came in, but we felt it was right to leave this review to warn others know that way they are aware of what stressors may come with working with Success Rentals

Success Rentals Property Management is the worst property management company I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with as a tenant. The company took over a few months after we signed a lease for a beautiful apartment. Betsy, Brock, Mark, and the rest of the team do not appear to care about their tenants. They may be good at selling houses, I’m not sure, but they do not seem to enjoy being landlords.

Their construction crews are rude and leave mess for tenants to clean up. The roofs had to be replaced and their construction crew left hundreds of nails on the ground. We had no warning that we might need to look out for this. My partner stepped on one on our stairs, resulting in an urgent care visit and a tetanus shot. Was Betsy empathic and concerned for his safety? No. She blamed him for walking on his own stairs. She blamed us because her construction crews did not clean behind an unlocked gate that they had complete access to. I had to ASK for an apology or any sort of empathy after a tenant was harmed. Our neighbor had nails in not one, but two tires on his brand new car.

Betsy will lie, demand, and push your personal boundaries. Text you multiple times within an hour if you are unable to respond on a holiday Monday. She just doesn’t really seem to have any desire to act as a landlord.

Mark not only misled us into signing a lease extension, but scheduled a weekend open house for the apartment we were vacating and put it on Zillow without speaking to us. We were in the middle of moving out, movers going in and out of the house. Strangers were just walking into our home without knocking. Not a single person at the company was answering the phone while this was happening. This is an incredible violation of privacy and safety. It made moving way more stressful than it already is. The way the company handled it was really disappointing.

The one good thing I can say about this company - we were having a problem with a neighbor’s dog barking into our house. Brock was actually fairly responsive with this one and i believe he actually took action. That might have been the only time we were shown any empathy from these people as tenants.

Maybe they will help you sell or buy a house and be happy to do so, but tenants - steer clear of Success Rentals Property Management.

Betsy is the most knowable rental management I've ever met！ From helping me to buy investment properties in San Diego, California since 2017, managing them for me, giving me current events and providing helpful tips, I've learning and gaining so much from her services! Sometimes I even made a small trouble and she is on rescue asap. Betsy and her team are professional, friendly, and easy to understand. With her and her company, you will make the positives investment back for sure! I highly recommending her and her team for your rental management needs.
