!!!!!! Do not book with this company !!!!!!!!!

We have had the worst customer service!
The customer service of this rental agency and owner are a bit rediculous.

1. No towels have been received after confirming they would bring them. Cleaning person said they don’t like to leave towels but he would bring but $1 spa towels. Really. You tell customers that. How cheap of an operation you guys really run and not to expect anything but the worst.
2. Stove still broke without anyone addressing
3. Completely ignored the fact the bed was so uncomfortable that we had to purchase our own mattress topper and only asking to refund purchase and we would leave for next guests to improve their stay.
4. Heating system is rediculous. The guy that came yesterday “pushed a button” and said would run better. Back bedroom still a sauna. This should be noted in listing if not going to be remedied.
5. Carbon monoxide detector still out of order which is a HAZARD!!!

We had listed out 13 items to be addressed by management. Only one item was acknowledged, the most simple: not enough pillowcases.

You guys are unbelievable.

Despite a clean and well stocked house in a very lovely part of Breckenridge several things were broken. Our dishwasher did not work for the majority of the time we were there and the downstairs shower could only be turned with pliers. It was very janky so 4 of us were all sharing the upstairs shower. When notified about these problems the host made many excuses and claimed the shower “still works” so it was fine. The combativeness made the experience awkward. It was really sad considering how nice the workable parts of the house was! I wish I could recommend but I think you would be better off staying at one of the many other Airbnbs in the area!

We had multiple, negative issues with Summit Vacations for a townhome rental in Breckenridge, Colorado in July 2020. They are summarized in the bullet points below with more detail for each bullet point following. NOTE: If you don't want to read all the details just know that we will never arrange a rental through Summit Vacations again.

- Summit website problems
- Poor communication during the rental process and stay at the home
- Unprofessional work
- Broken materials
- Inadequate cleaning and preparation for our visit
- Lack of management empathy for the problems we experienced

Summit Website Problems - the website handled our initial rental then locked us out of everything else because it would not allow us to sign the agreement online. The Summit staff blamed their website designer but never fixed the problem.

Poor Communication - To summarize, we had to contact Summit numerous times before and during the rental period because of problems. They never provided any of the followup they promised. We always had to initiate new phone calls or e-mail messages to get them to do anything. They made many promises to get back to us but never did.

Unprofessional Work - They attempted to cover a window for us to block out morning light. Whomever did the work hand tore a cardboard box and tried to duct tape six pieces of it to the wall. Four of the six pieces were laying on the bed when we arrived at the house. The microwave oven door was held together with black duct tape too...it worked, but it sure didn't look professional.

Broken Materials - As stated above, the microwave door. There was a screen door for a sliding glass door but it was laying on the deck when we arrived because the rollers on the bottom of it were broken. They sent a maintenance man to fix it. He said he couldn't and didn't have a replacement. We had to keep the sliding glass door closed the entire time we were at the home to keep out the bugs.

Inadequate Cleaning and Preparation for Our Visit - Too many items to describe in detail. The garage floor had at least six months of dirt, gravel, and grime on it. We had to sweep it out ourselves. The coffee maker still had a used K-cup in it. The humidifiers had leftover water in them. The blinds were so dusty you could write your name on them. The washer had black mold and caked-on lint all over it. The lint trap in the dryer had not been cleaned in a long time.

Lack of Management Empathy - At one time during the rental period, we talked directly to the Summit Vacations manager. He acknowledged that the rental agent had told him about all our problems. No apology. No sympathy. No emotion at all. Just a "yes" the agent told him about the issues.

We won't presume to advise you on what to do when you need a rental vacation property. We will tell you that we will find a rental company...any company...other than Summit Vacations to arrange our next rental.

poor condition, unsafe stairways, broken towel rack, no handle on refrigerator, several windows and deck door unable to open, no wi-fi, no response to the 24/7 phone number. left the next morning and they refused to give me a refund as they did not live up to their side of the contract

I'll follow up here. They are unprofessional, negligent of their properties, and uncooperative in their communications. They will do anything but pay up to make things right.

If you want to shower with pliers as the handle, good luck! There was even the broken dishwasher before we even checked in. It was a known issue but "out of their control". Not a good company to book with.

I stayed at Sawmill Creek 111. Perfect location to walk through downtown Breckenridge. The unit was very tastefully decorated and I wasn't lacking of any supplies. I would definitely stay here again. The Summit Vacations management team were very responsive when I had a question. They were super professional with replies. I would recommend them for both for guests and owners alike.

In February 2022 rented for Christmas 2022 a large property for our family and paid 5 k deposit with the rest due October. Summit Vacations emailed us in May saying the owners decided not to rent it. So apparently the contract binds me to a number of stipulations but they can just back out when they feel like it. Then they proceeded to say there wasn’t any equivalent property which was their only obligation and they would not respond to our contacts—returned deposit, no interest, no consolation, said they were done with us!—vacationers beware!

Stay Away!!! We rented a unit at Sawmill Creek for Thanksgiving this year. When we arrived the unit had sewage water on the floor. We called the emergency number and they sent someone over who agreed that water was backing up in multiple places. We obviously left as it was not habitable for a family with children. The place stunk and water was running into the walls. This unit needs all carpet replaced and the walls treated for mold and other growth. Don't jeopardize you health and stay here!!! To top it off we are having to dispute the charges because the rental company would not refund us as if it was our fault. They did not seem like they were going to notify the neighboring units either. I would avoid this entire build at all costs!!
