My wife and I live in the UK and enjoy visiting the beautiful Madeira Beach area particularly during our harsh winter months. We have been coming to Florida with our family for the last 30yrs but with just website photos and descriptions to go on, have always found it difficult to find a place that meets all our needs at the best price ............ until we found Debbie at Sun Beach Rentals.
During a visit in November 2017 we popped in to the conveniently located Sun Beach Rentals office in the centre of Madeira Beach. Debbie arranged visits to a short list of suitable apartments from her large portfolio of local properties. We were able to select the best one for us and booked it for November 2018. We were so pleased with the visit that we booked again (after selecting from another great shortlist compiled by Debbie) for November 2019.
Looking forwards to escape from the UK winter in November 2019 to an apartment we know meets our needs booked through an agency we trust. Thank you Debbie.

I recently used sun beach properties from May 1-May 8. Dealing with Debbie was an absolute pleasure. She was very accommodating and helpful prior and during our vacation. We had a wonderful experience dealing with her, the company, and the condo that we rented. Thanks, Jeff

My family and I just returned from our two week stay at Ocean Sands. We couldn't be more happy with the staff at Sun Beach. Extremely helpful with everything from the booking process to recommendations for a local doctor for my daughter during our stay. For all future visits to the area we will check here first. I have used several different rental companies in the area over the years and while none of the prior ones made for a bad experience, I can't say that any of the others stood out to me as being great.

We came across this agency while trying to look for our last minute beachfront condo to stay. This is probably the most easiest agency we deal with. Everything, the key was all ready when we got there. There were certain problems from the unit (not their fault obviously) we called them and things get fixed asap.about the refund on the deposit, it only took over a week and they credited it back to my card. Overall will use them again.

I listed my property with Debbie for more than a year with no success. I understand that getting a match for a rental may or may not happen, so I would not rate down the service just because I didn't happen to get a match. I do rate down the service because Debbie got way too busy to talk to me once she had the listing, and when I did get contact from her it was usually to ask if I was willing to violate my Condo association rules in order to secure a rental. The service may work well for others, but I would not choose Sun Beach again.

I came to Florida from Chicago, having arranged for a 3 month-stay in a condo managed by Sun Beach Properties. Problems arose with the rental that were not the fault of the management company. Debbie and Janet (from Sun Beach) both did their best to make everything work out well and it did!

BAIT AND SWITCH!!
Called and spoke to one of their reps (Janet) the day before arriving about renting a Starfish cottage for Tuesday - Fri. that same week. I informed her that I would be bringing my 10 lb poodle which she said was no problem. My husband's company was paying for our 3 night stay and we planned to return atleast once per month for additional Tue-Friday visits. I provided the corporate credit card info and booked the unit over the phone. Was told the nightly rate ($100), $200 security deposit (btw-SB Properties is literally the only company I spoke with in the entire area that requires one), tax, and $100 cleaning fee (also highest in area - most are $60) - agreed to all and provided the corporate credit card info and booked the unit over the phone. Was told I could pick up the key at 9a the next morning when I arrived from Orlando. The next morning I arrived in my packed car looking forward to my 3 night stay and stopped by their office at 9am for the key. Was greeted by a very unfriendly self-proclaimed "manager". Nothing was ready for me so as I began to review the agreement I had made with their rep Janet, the "manager" told me that she would not honor the agreement made between her employee and me just the day before. Knowing I was there with all my stuff and already having my credit card info, she refused to honor her staff's verbal contract, blamed her employee and told me she's firing her and then tried to bait and switch me to $300!!! I tried to reach Janet (her employee) right after the manager called her but she was conveniently unavailable.
I, of course, left and am now staying in a beautiful one bedroom suite right on the beach at Schooner. Was greeted with a warm welcoming smile by Joy whom happily showed me several rooms to choose from. She then contacted the new owner, Brian, whom I then met and negotiated our unit with. This place is GREAT! There's a beautiful pool, Jacuzzi, plenty of parking, clean spacious freshly remodeled suite with a beautiful view right on the Gulf. He charged me no security deposit, a nightly charge of $120 plus tax and waived the $60 cleaning fee. I will be returning again and again to Schooner.
I certainly hope I don't have any charges on my husband's company credit card made by those unprofessional people at Sun Beach Properties. I recommend staying anywhere else but a Sun Beach Property.

You should avoid Sun Beach Properties. Their cancelation policy makes it impossible to have their extremely high deposit returned if reservations are made within 60 days of your rental even if they are able to rent your unit. Been renting in Fl for over 40 yr... SUNBEACH is by far the worst rental group I have dealt with
