Buying a home during the COVD19 is a challenge in itself. Between labor shortages, delays in construction, dealing with unresponsive vendors, governmental delays etc..etc.. We viewed many real estate agent reviews along with reputations of agents in our neighborhood prior to interviewing 3 agents in person. We chose Aaron Barker of Tampa South Realty over the others due to his preparation prior to meeting with us, the realistic pricing he proposed, a plan to market the house and the amount of time he felt it would take to sell our home at different price points. We agreed on a price point that we expected to sell within 30-60 days.

Aaron suggested improvements to prepare the house for sale. Once we completed the suggested basic improvements Aaron and his team prepared for and held a very successful open house. It generated interest by both buyers and other agents. The house was shown about 20 times after that. Aaron helped us navigate the typical bad offers and worked through negotiations with the agent representing the person that ultimately purchased our home. We had a signed contract at 47 days and a closing at just over 3 months. The final price was the amount we had wanted from day one.

If you need an agent that will provide realistic expectations, recommend reasonable preparations prior to listing the house and that gets the job done. Aaron came through on all those requirements.
