My wife and I recently sold a house in Pensacola to The Gulf Coast Property Group, LLC... The house had been in our family since 1957, but with us living in Atlanta, no longer made sense for us to keep. After receiving a few post cards and letters from them, we decided to give the The Gulf Coast Property Group a call and we are glad that we did. The house was a good one, but needed some updating and clean up. We believe we received a fair offer for it and accepted it. After that, everything moved quickly and we were actually able to close in less than 30 days. We never thought it would be so simple, but it really was. We do recommend The Gulf Coast Property Group. It was a good experience and one where we feel we were treated well!

Had a contract( assignable purchase agreement) to buy a home in Panama City, sent in a check for 1000.00 in earnest money to the title company, I signed the contract as did a rep (Blake) from Gulf Coast properties. One week before we were set to close I received a email from Blake that the "seller" was getting sketchy and to hold off on what I had going on.

I had to cancel a inspection that was set to happen the next day and all of the work and time I put into making this deal happen was a waste. A few hours later I was told by Blake at Gulf Coast property the seller sold it to his niece and the deal has already gone through. How could someone sell a property when I had a signed contract on it and had already sent earnest money. I had cash and it would have been a easy transaction. I also passed on several other houses in order to buy this one.

My guess is that despite the fact I had a contract on the house they disregarded it and sold it to someone offering more. Since I do have a signed contract I may seek the advice of a real estate attorney and see what cost is involved to take one sort of legal action. Im still waiting on my earnest money to be returned, maybe Ill just use this to retain a attorney at this point its a matter of principle

It would be wise to steer clear of this company , this was a really dirty way to do someone just trying to buy a house with cash.
