The charge a huge Management cost for no reason. If this is the company who is managing you HOA they are definitely overcharging you if you compare with similar companies. IN our case it is chagrin 116$ \Home from our community where they take 47$ just for management fees which is equivalent to doing nothing.

This is the worst HOA management company. We pay monthly for them to send notices about your lawn or landscaping. They micromanage everything. They want you to remove a dead tree stump after you had just trimmed it. They are not willing to wait a few months for the tree to grow and flourish again. They want you to remove the dead grass, even though we have to conserve water. We got new grass last year and maintain it pretty well, still they are not understanding that the heat is drying out the grass. They just find things to send notices to you and that is the only job they do, yet they raise HOA fees annually for not doing anything else.

Terrible it is as everyone experienced, I am not the only one suffering. I looked at annual financial statements sent by helsing and it shows 50% is management overhead expenses while remaining 50% is only needed for maintenance.
They will not monitor , manage and do nothing. If you ask for lawn they will stay with wood chips, plants they wont change for years, dry leaves , branches they will just put aside and but will not carry in truck with them. Don't believe me , see this photo at the end of maintenance day at our community .
We pay them hefty money to just to do this
If you can , gather your community together to kick them out of your contract

Very poor HOA. Our community hasn't been maintained in over 2 years and the charges have only increased. Spectacularly inefficient! Agonizingly irresponsible. A small example of a broken door which has been raised with them multiple times before it completely broke. The door will degrade before Helsing responds.

This hoa is a joke. They require contractors to submit licenses and proof of insurance naming the hoa as an insured party, then file for approval. File plans with the city and file for permits. Even on projects that don’t require permits or planning docs. Yet do not pull appropriate permits then selfs before commissioning work to the properties. Leaving a building to crumble and fall apart because no contractor can properly get ahold of the people In charge of anything. It turns into essentially a phone run around or no response. You can’t do any work with out doing so.

Yet purposely ignore property managers and contractors attempts to ensure they are following the bylaws. Managed units with one of their properties for years Still manage those units and work with the owners in projects

The excuse being “we don’t disclose hoa information or communicate with third parties” yet vacasa was able to give me insight? A third party? Yet want contractors to give you sensitive info and name you on an insurance policy? But you can’t disclose the process you’re requiring them to do for you?

Once even had them paint the buildings and put the wrong addresses on the units causing massive loss of revenue in compensation and incidents where guest are walking into occupied units that weren’t addressed correctly.

Our Townhome has had a broken security gate for MONTHS! They fix it temp and it just breaks again...yet they increase their rates for what? landscaping? They dont clean gutters, roofs, the parking areas, the gate locks, the entry gates...yet take 400+ per person every month. Wow....cant wait to move and not have to pay an HOA fee, esp to these folks.

They are simply terrible! They manage our Glashaus assocation in Emeryville. They never pick up the phone, they never call back after any messages. They simply don't care
