The gate guard acts like she is protecting the White House. Very rude. She prevented the community from not getting the service they needed by not letting me in even though I gave a valid drivers license and told her exactly why I was there. Why do so many gate guards feel great power to be able to grant access or deny it. Just do your job properly.

Your guests are harassed and treated awful at the front gate. We can't even get an Insurance Adjuster in without unprofessional and down right rude behavior from the front gate attendees!

I see all the 1 star reviews are regarding the front gate employees, do better Plantation!

I absolutely LOVE living in The Plantation at Leesburg!!! The community offers a wealth of activities to choose from and participate in where one can do as much or as little of it as one cares to but the choices and variety of clubs, entertainment, social and physical activity offerings and organizations in which to get involved is definitely in abundance! This 55+ residential community is generally well maintained, the atmosphere wonderful and the environment scenic with several lakes and sand cranes walking around along with amazingly stunning sunsets...people are generally friendly and it's simply a joy to reside here! Having 3 Activity Centers, 8 tennis courts, 12 pickleball courts, a steam room, sauna room, jacuzzi's at all 3 Activity Center pools, Water Volleyball, Horseshoes, Cornhole, Shuffleboard, Bocce courts, 2 Fitness Centers, our own Library and even a Train Club and Archery Club, 2 Golf Courses, Softball field (with even a Snack Shack), our own Restaurant to dine at and Golf Pro Shop, Game Days, Concerts, Dances, Bible Study groups, Health Seminars, Financial Seminars, Paint Club, Book Club, Sewing Club, all kinds of Card Game Groups, Bingo, Bunco, Darts, Table Tennis, Billiards Gun Club and soooo much more here is significantly appealing for me personally. I have been living in The Plantation at Leesburg for almost 7 years now and continue to bask in the benefits of living in this awesome community and having a 'recreational lifestyle'... Thankful the Lord placed me here and that I am able to enjoy and appreciate this special community to the extent that I do!

I recently had an extremely unpleasant encounter with the gatekeeper guard in the Plantation neighborhood, and I feel compelled to share my experience to raise awareness about his unprofessional behavior. The level of aggression displayed by this individual was completely unwarranted and unacceptable. Upon approaching the gate, I politely provided my identification and stated my purpose for visiting. Instead of responding courteously, the guard immediately adopted a confrontational and hostile demeanor. He spoke rudely, used offensive language, and made derogatory remarks, creating an intimidating and unwelcoming environment. I believe that the gatekeeper guard's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the community. However, his aggressive behavior undermines this objective and creates a sense of fear and discomfort among residents and visitors alike. Furthermore, his lack of professionalism reflects poorly on the reputation of the neighborhood and its management. The role of a gatekeeper guard is to maintain order and provide a sense of security, not to intimidate and harass individuals who are simply trying to access their homes or visit friends and family.

I strongly urge the management of the Plantation neighborhood to address this issue promptly and take appropriate action by reevaluating the suitability of this gatekeeper guard in his role. Residents and visitors deserve to feel safe and respected within their own community, and the current behavior of this guard is hindering that experience.
In conclusion, the aggressive and unprofessional conduct of the gatekeeper guard in the Plantation neighborhood is deeply concerning. It is my sincere hope that the necessary steps are taken to rectify this situation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Great New Years Eve party. Kind of pricey but they did a nice job of decorating. The snacks were pretty nominal but okay. Good job Plantation.

The Plantation At Leesburg appropriated a woman's home when she was hospitalized due to a serious fall. This was over a $480.00 HOA fee. See the report on WFTV Chansl 9 news. How this could happen to anyone dealing with HOA's.
