Considering the last 20 people who posted their positive/5 star reviews within the last week are friends or relatives of one of the leasing office's staff and probably don't even live here should tell you all that you need to know about this place. We have leasing office staff posting false reviews about how they're biased and think the staff are "wonderful". It's honestly so shady and upsetting.
Instead of having people posting false reviews, why don't you guys actually do something about the negative reviews you've received from people who actually live or have lived here and make an effort to make The Reserve the awesome place it used to be? I've been here for almost 4 years now and this place has really changed for the worst. I actually like the leasing office staff, they're all really nice but I feel like nothing is being done to resolve people's complaints. I am not trying to be a jerk, I am just tired.

Rules are not enforced. This place is riddled with dog poop, cigarette butts (smoking isn't even allowed), litter mostly from kids, the hallways are disgusting, neighbors are loud and inconsiderate, the landscaping, what's left of it, looks terrible and was like this way before the hurricanes, dog park has been vandalized, the fence lock has been broken purposely, twice, and the pool furniture is full of mildew.

The apartments are nice and the maintenance crew are wonderful but that's all I can say positively about The Reserve. I truly wish I could say more but like I said, this place has really gone downhill. I feel like the people living here and this entire place are being neglected.

I have moved here 4 months ago and I will be moving out on march 31st, in unit # 10104 there is a serious issue with stove, washing machine and AC, with electricity in general. It stopped working multiple times and I was left alone for 3 weeks until I asked to fix it again ( request was done via their system, I have all proves, requests and emails ). This community is extremely dirty, there is a trash all kind and dog's poop everywhere. Their office and swimming pool is the only place that is clean. I have a lot of huge roaches in my apartment and when I was asking for help they scheduled a pest control but no one showed up. Gates have not been working either since I moved in, they were fixed just 2 weeks ago. Big part of fence is damaged too. I am not trying to cause issues, I do not even want to write a review but I feel like I have to warn other people. Living condition is pure nightmare here. Please think it over twice before you decide to move in to this place.

When we moved into The Reserve at Venice in 2021, it was a magnificent place to live. However, about a year and a half into our residency there, the ownership changed and so did everything else. The landscaping is in shambles (and was, well before the hurricanes), security gates have been broken longer than they worked, "screened" outdoor eating area has broken screens and door is missing, pool furniture is mildewed and torn, exterior hallways are filthy. It got to the point that I was ashamed to bring people to my home. One bright spot is the maintenance crew, who responds requests almost immediately. We just moved to a new luxury apartment community for a nicer place at nearly $250/month less. Do your research, there are many better rental options in Sarasota County.

I absolutely love my new home. Large bathrooms with dual sinks and a walk in shower and plenty of space. Screened in patio overlooking a preserve. The look and modern style definatly made my decorating easy. Just a great community. The grounds are well kept also. Staff is easy to work with.

We’ve absolutely loved everything about The Reserve at Venice so far. Everyone in the office is beyond exceptional. Andrew is absolutely amazing, such a kind person and always helps with any questions or concerns. 10/10! Definitely would recommend living here!
