first came on board with the Silver Ridge HOA in 2007. My family was one of the first few families to buy property and have a home built here in Silver Ridge. We purchased our home New Florida home in December of '87 and later moved into our home in February of '88. To the best of my knowledge there were only General Homes and Pulte as your choice for builders. We chose Pulte. We knew with lived in a deed restricted community with covenants and an HOA Board and management company which I do not recall ever hearing from either. In 2007 we slowly began to learn about the Top Notch team and the SR HOA. Many, many learning curves as a homeowner living in a deed restricted community for the first time. Yes, we bumped heads a few times and initially we, as homeowners were confused how to deal with notices and other situations. After a few phone conversations with Marilyn and agreeing to disagree, Marilyn Vance patiently began to educate me more and more each phone call. Because of my inquisitive personality I was eventually invited to an HOA meeting. No invitation was ever needed, I just needed to pay attention to the postings in the neighborhood and mailings which I received. Years go by and our relations as a homeowner and management company grew for the positive. By now I'm attending regular meetings and not afraid to stand up and ask questions. Eventually I was asked to join the board. Faye the President at the time, took me under her wing and helped me understand even more. As I learned more, I grew to enjoy my time volunteering as a board member. My relationship with Marilyn, Gasner and the team from Top Notch grew even more. Now we were operating on a professional level as a team. Eventually Faye asked to step down to take care of a family member and asked me to be president. I said yes. It's not that easy, I had to be nominated by Faye at a later meeting and approved by the board. I was nominated and elected President. As of today 9/20/24, I am still president. Minutes from the previous meetings can tell you the actual dates of all my involvement with the HOA and board of directors. As Top Notch has grown, Marilyn trained members of her team to support our meetings as Marilyn and/or Gasner had been at every meeting since 2007. Many years prior to the pandemic we met Ashley, she began to meet and get to know our SR HOA Board of Directors. She grew more and more and eventually took charge of running our board meetings for Top Notch. Today Ashley has Erin to assist and support each monthly meeting along with keeping the Board of Directors informed of violations, changes and challenges. Ashley and Erin also inform us of improvements and changes for the positive within the Silver Ridge Community.
Marilyn & Gasner are only a phone call or email away and they quickly respond each time I contact them. In general, people dislike HOA's and anything or anyone associated with them. Top Notch knew this going in and has met every challenge head on as well as educating the Board of Directors, ACC Committee along with the residents and homeowners of Silver Ridge, all 440 homes! Thank You Top Notch!

Top Notch Property Management got $50k to manage a $500k project in my community that they didn’t manage well. My building sidings has been covered in tarps for over 3 months now. The BoD and Top Notch are in litigation with the roofing vendor they hastily chose a month prior to the project starting. Now we the HOA/homeowners are paying all these additional attorney fees to go into litigation with a vendor the BoD and Top Notch chose. Also, the owner of this company is personal friends with the owner of the roofing company….as if that’s wouldn’t raise suspicions.

When contacting this property management company to get copies of the $500k loan and how all $500k is being utilized for this project, they keep purposely making it difficult for me or ignoring my requests. My home received code violations from the city as well. When I ask for anything or to be informed, I was told to have my attorney contact them. I retained an attorney and they sent out a demand letter for mediation and they are purposefully ignoring the demand letter and refusing to mediate. Now they are willing to keep spending more of our HOA/homeowners dues on going to court instead of mediating as the law stipulates.

I wish I could write a review for the HOA BoD and warn people to never buy into this neighborhood but Top Notch lack of professionalism and nasty attitudes fits well with the HOA BoD disrespectful actions.

Unresponsive and unprofessional. Safety concerns over raised sidewalk slabs in townhome community were brought to their attention months ago. Requests to fix it were dismissed as not their concern. Supporting documentation was requested to validate their stance, but each instance has been met with silence. I would avoid them as a management company as they show numerous complaints filed with the BBB. I am willing to redact my opinion pending said issues being resolved.

Donna, Erin, and Ashley have been taking care of any issues I had so far since top notch took over here in Hawk's Crest winter park. I call almost weekly to report and follow up on issues with my lot and the rest of the community and all issues were fixed so far. Thanks to you all 😊

I have lived in our community of Village Grove for over 6 years. We use to have a managment company in my opinion that chose to be idle when it came to bylaws and why we need our rules of the community to maintain our home values but in 2023 we started to use Top Notch management with our manager being Donna, I personally think things have gone smoothly when it comes to consistency of residents adhering to the rules but also being able to reach out to our manager when i have questions or concerns. Thankfully it feels like the community is being managed properly now.

Our HOA has been using Top Notch for a while now and they do a great job. I personally have noticed a huge improvement since we have been dealing with Ms. Lisa Moore. Lisa's response time to emails is fantastic. She follows through and makes sure your issue is resolved in the best way. She is always professional yet approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend Top Notch and Lisa Moore without reservations.

I have lived in my community for 27 years and experienced at least four different managements companies. Top Notch has been the Best! Ashley and Erin have done a fantastic job for us! Follow up response time is commendable. The owners Garner and Marilyn are accessible, which is real plus.
