I closed with Watson Title Company on a vacant lot on 13 March 2024 and was to receive my funds on 15 March 2024. The developer tried delaying the payment til the following week. Barbara and Tiffany worked tirelessly and successfully to get the money wired as promised. 5 stars for them. Thank you

I was skeptical at first (due to a bad experience a few years ago) but this time around was a completely different experience. Working with Barbara Goodin, rest assured that you're loan is in the best of hands. She is incredibly responsive and committed to getting the transaction closed and funded, as smoothly and efficiently as possible. She works incredibly hard on the back end to ensure that the customer experience is a great one. She exceeded all expectations on this transaction. My closing was supposed to be this Friday. Unfortunately they lack communication & its unprofessional. Also for them to request for the seller to send documents last minute, really shows how slow they are and this could of been prevented by asking the seller to give all required documents before hand. - Now I have to pay to extend my rate with my mortgage due to their lack of communication and work ethics. Will not recommend them and will report to BBB

Two star because of Lou. So I closed on my home on a Friday and I had a good experience with Lou. Very nice, courteous, and explained all the details accurately. It’s not my first property purchase and I expect the listing agency to have keys and a garage door clicker. When I inquired about the clicker the manager of the firm just he brushed me off like it’s not important just go buy another one down the street he says! The home had work done and it was in my hand only for the showing of the home and it’s sad when people take no responsibility to make it right. It got lost and no one wanted the responsibility to replace it. It isn’t how you do business or how you treat them, don’t ever think that doing business isn’t in the details. I will make sure not to do business or recommend Watson title to anyone ever again.

I have dealt with Watson Title Services in Longwood for 5+ years and have always provided excellent service. This past closing was exceptional as it required me to ask the President Gary Dechellis to help with personal communications with one of the clients involved in the transaction. The gentleman had a past title service experience, that was not knowledgeable or confident enough to meet some unusual challenges in dealing with clearing some IRS liens. One conversation with Mr. Dechellis and Laura Brandt Escrow Officer and we were well on our way to a great closing experience. One that also was without delay!! Thank you Watson Title Services to the entire team!!

Watson, couldn't even spell my name correctly in their response. Just another "minor" oversight by this title company.

Don't forget to file for the homestead exemption for ad valorem tax savings. Watson may or may not cover this with you. They claim not to keep record of this in the closing material, so hard to verify after the fact. YMMV, but I will not have them on my deal team again.

Very high costs and fees. Other items I had to sign just before closing not disclosed to me or my mortgage company until we sat down to sign. Very strange buying and closing on my house with Watson. If it wasn't for my excellent buyers agent Realtors there would have been many more issues with this seller agent and closing company.
