Make sure you read everything extremely carefully as they offer experiences on board without advertising it comes at an extra price until after the fact. $76 for a brunch with the same food that comes out of the buffet and they don’t tell you it costs extra til you get charged. Not worth it. Communication is not great.

On Friday April 26, 2024 I purchased a cruise from Whet Travel and purchased a second room on the same cruise for my son. I paid $1,275.00 (25%) on my son's room for him and his family. When I received the email with their room purchase both of my grandsons ages 8 and 10 were charged as adults. Royal Carribean currently has that children sail free. I called Whet travel first thing Monday morning April 29, 2024 and was told that the children would not get the discount on the tickets and we would have to pay the full price for them. I then stated I wanted to cancel and the cruise and was told to send an email in writing. I received two texts at 14:02 on Monday afternoon with the email address to cancel the cruise.

When I sent the email to cancel the cruise I was told that I would not be receiving a refund because they have a no refund policy. I was NOT told of the policy in advance. When I told Whet that I was not told of this policy in advance they stated that "All confirmation emails have the cancel policy attached to it towards the bottom of the email." This is absolutely correct however you do not get the cancellation policy until AFTER you pay and they send you the confirmation of payment.

Whet then replied that I should have purchased travel insurance. Again a great idea however, it was not offered when I purchased the ticket it is offered in the confirmation email but if I purchase insurance knowing that I am cancelling is that not insurance fraud?

I just attended Groove Island last weekend which was put together by Whet Travel. AMAZING EXPERIENCE. If I could give this 10 stars I would!!!! The sound system, DJs, venues, jet pack dude, EVERYTHING was just incredible. Thank you guys so much, it was unforgettable!

Be Aware of Late Information Release by Whet Travel: I recently booked a cruise through Whet Travel and I feel compelled to share some important concerns with fellow travelers, especially those looking to book excursions. While the cruise itself is well-organized with a variety of excursions available, there is a significant logistical hiccup caused by Whet Travel’s policy of not releasing passenger information to the cruise ship until just 60 days before departure.

This delay has a major drawback: many popular excursions begin filling up long before the 60-day mark. Consequently, by the time our information was finally released to the cruise operators, a number of excursions were already fully booked. This policy seems quite unfair and poorly thought out, as it puts customers who book through Whet Travel at a distinct disadvantage compared to other travelers who have the opportunity to book their excursions much earlier.

I urge potential customers to consider this policy carefully. If booking excursions is a priority for you, you might find this delay not just inconvenient but detrimental to your travel plans. I hope Whet Travel will reconsider this policy in the future to provide a more equitable and satisfying experience to all their customers.

Read the fine print with this company. They are quick to say one thing and then claim that there must have been a misunderstanding even when numerous individuals were there. Don’t take them at face value.
