The pool is great but I don’t know why in a day with this weather they just close it because of a “weather warning”. there were people waiting but they tell them they couldn’t open it. Besides that, sometimes there is like 4 lifeguards and the pool capacity is 25 and the reason is there is just 1 lifeguard on duty. I don’t really understand.

What a great benefit to our little city. $3 for us old folks and plenty of lanes to train for the senior Olympics. Men's restroom has six showers six toilets and a nice bench for changing also outside showers by the pool and a water fountain for drinking.

One of the best parks in Florida. Perfect for young children. Playground and water park and close to each other and are completely fenced in, Which is a life saver when you have several little ones running around.

Omg. 10:30am. come to the pool with grandkids. No allowed in cause too many people. I go look no kids in there, only about 12 ADULTS in swim lanes. Now they say they can go in at 11 when another lifeguard comes in. Why not have it staffed and make me crazy, adults that know how to swim in swim lane and kids can't go swimming? How about advertising 10-11 closed for adults. SMH only citrus county.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic, clean pool that works as a great alternative to any other summer activity. But this pool I believe suffers from mismanagement. From the ever changing schedule, to the absurd occupancy max rules that change depending on how many lifeguards are "on duty" you will be rolling the dice whether you can enter or just waste the trip to the park. The facilities occupancy is 108 people, but you won't even get to half of that due to a shortage of lifeguards "on duty". It makes no sense when they tell you that the max is 25 people due to not enough lifeguards, when you can see 4 lifeguards in the office and one on rotation, making the capacity issue trivial. The weather can look fantastic, the forecast can say it won't rain until hours after the scheduled pool closure, but even the tiniest grey cloud will shut the pool down.

This is the most crappiest place. They don't even open until eleven thirty closed on the days that the kids are out of school. They say it's a family place but it's not the hours they have for a pool is ridiculous eleven thirty till 4 Knowing the kids don't get out of school till four It is not a family friendly place.It is only For old people who don't have a life and can lounge around.

My grandson and I have been going there for 4 years now problems, we went 4-20-2024 Saturday pool opens at 12 we got there 12:40 and told pool was at capacity, they are very under staffed and only have 2 lifeguards which means only 25 people are allowed in. We had to wait till people left to go in, they where turning people away , poor management which apparently are new. All the other years swimming there you would always see someone taking water samples making sure it was good, this was the second time swimming there this year and never seen anyone do that or even seen someone of authority there other than young lifeguards.

Awesome pool, It's a great place to take the kids it's cheap Clean and the people who attend Seem for the most part to be good people. Is however some rules need to change. During the summer you have swim lessons water arobics and then adult swim until 2 o'clock during the week. So when The open swim starts at 2 o'clock you have people waiting outside in long lines for all of the elderly people to gingerly take their time to get out of the pool while they've had the pool all morning. Causing people with children to be waiting sometimes for more than an hour before they decide that their leathered skin has had enough sun and they want to go home and eat. I mean if you won't let people swim while they're in the pool because it's a class or aerobics then when it's open swim they should be forced to remove themselves from the pool And pay for open swim not have the pool to themselves all day. If people are there for open swim and can't swim with them because it's water arobics or adult swim or swim lessons then they should not be allowed to be in the pool when open pool starts they should have to leave and if they want to continue to stay pay the extra $3. It's not fair to the kids on summer vacation to have to wait on elderly people who have had the pool all morning to get out so they can have fun. Especially when half of these people have pools at their home and still come to the public pool.
