Perfectly situated with a beautiful deck! We stayed at Norse Hus cabin in August for a little relaxing before school started. The house was immaculately clean and the spacious kitchen had everything we needed. The house is roomy, beds are comfortable, the layout is perfect for multiple families or friends, plus multiple common areas make it also great for guests of different ages.
We played games on the deck, walked around the neighborhood and made trips to Pinecrest, Sonora and downtown Twain Harte to explore, plus Moaning Caverns. We loved the location of this cabin and working with the owner was really easy. Check in and all house details were very well explained, and the host was attentive and helpful through the whole process. We fell in love with the area and this charming house. We will definitely be back!

I was able to be at Norse Hus a week ago and it was Amazing. It is charming, clean, organized and sleeps a group of people with ease and comfort.

We had a great time exploring the local area filled with hiking, swimming, lakes, rivers and the charming town of Twain Harte also very close to Sonora.

We hiked around Pinecrest Lake which was 20 minutes away, explored by the Stanislaus River and took a tour at Moaning Caverns 30 minutes away.

At Norse Hus we loved dining and relaxing on the spacious deck, playing cards and doing board games at night. Cooking in the beautifully remodeled kitchen is easy to navigate and a delight.

It was a dream get away to a place I had never been and we definitely hope to go again!

What a wonderful stay we had at Norse Hus. Twain Harte is a perfect location for doing so many things year round. During our stay at the house we took full advantage of all the snow and went skiing at Dodge Ridge and exploring around Pinecrest Lake. We built a snowman on the huge deck at the house and the kids had a blast on the tire swing. The house itself is perfect for families and/or friends get-away. Norse Hus has everything you could need and more for entertaining kids and adults. Kitchen is large and has kitchenware for any type of cooking and baking. The beds are comfortable and the kids really liked the bunkhouse room. Lots of board games, puzzles and a full size Foosball game. We plan on coming back to Norse Hus in the summer to explore more of what the area has to offer knowing we have a wonderful place to come back to at the end of the day. Also, just to relax at the house and take advantage of the of large deck and wooded area. I highly recommend Norse Hus cabin any time of the year.

Great location and a very nice, clean house. Walking distance to downtown Twai Harte if you want a moderate walk otherwise a quick trip in the car. Lots to do in the area or just to relax on the spacious deck.
